You can have awesome skills and technique, but if your instrument is out of tune you’ll scare away even your most loyal fans. We will discuss at least three methods you can use to tune your guitar.
Method 1
In this method, you will be depending on another guitarist to play his or her guitar strings one by one while you adjust the tuning on your guitar. In the video, I will play the role of that other guitarist. Just try to make the strings of your guitar sound just like mine.
Method 2
There is an enormous assumption with this method. The assumption is that your “e” string is in tune.
Method 3
This method is perhaps the most practical; however, loads of patience is needed to accurately tune your guitar. Since you will be using an electronic tuner or a chromatic tuner you’ll quickly find out that it is much easier to be out-of-tune than not.
